愛媛県内子町にて進行中の OISHIIプロジェクト の一環として、町並み保存・地域振興を担当する「町並・地域振興課」の皆様をお迎えし、意見交換および今後連携強化の打ち合わせを行いました。
この訪問は、地方自治体との信頼関係構築および共同プロジェクト推進を目的としたものです。

訪問の背景と目的
内子町は歴史ある町並み保存や地域文化振興に力を入れており、当社のOISHIIプロジェクトとの親和性が高い地域です。
今後、地方資源の国内/海外発信、および観光誘客・地域活性化を見据え、地元行政との緊密な連携が不可欠と判断しました。
訪問を通じて、町並み保存、地域振興、観光戦略、海外展開などの方向性や課題を共有し、共同プロジェクトの基盤づくりを目指しました。

実施内容・議論テーマ
以下を中心に議論・意見交換を行いました。

  1. 地域資源の発信戦略
     内子町が持つ歴史的建造物、伝統文化、食文化、町並み景観などを、国内外にどう訴求していくか。
  2. 観光誘客および交流促進
     過疎化や高齢化が進む町において、観光客誘致・地域滞在促進のための施策(イベント、ガイドツアー、体験プログラム等)。
  3. 地方と海外の橋渡し
     OISHIIプロジェクトでの海外向け発信ノウハウを活用し、地域の魅力を英語圏・アジア圏に届ける手法。翻訳・取材・SNS発信、海外向けコンテンツ展開のアイデア共有。
  4. 連携体制・運営スキーム
     行政、地域団体、観光協会、地元事業者との役割分担やワークフロー設計。プロジェクト推進における課題や予算・スケジュール面の整合性。

今後の展望と次ステップ
この訪問を起点に、内子町様との具体的な協業プロジェクト(観光発信、体験型イベント、町並みツアーなど)を目指していきます。
当社が持つ英語・多言語発信力、海外ネットワーク、コンテンツ制作力を活かし、内子町の魅力をグローバルに広める支援を行います。
また、このような自治体との協働実績を、他地域や他プロジェクトへの展開モデルとして昇華していく所存です。

As part of the ongoing OISHII Project, Media Japan visited the Townscape and Regional Development Division of Uchiko Town, Ehime Prefecture.
The purpose of this visit was to exchange opinions and discuss future collaboration aimed at strengthening ties with local government partners.
This initiative forms part of our continued efforts to build trust and foster joint projects with local municipalities.

Background and Purpose of the Visit
●Uchiko Town is known for its well-preserved historical townscape and active efforts in regional cultural promotion—values that strongly align with the vision of the OISHII Project.
●Recognizing the importance of close cooperation with local authorities to promote regional resources both domestically and internationally, as well as to drive tourism and community revitalization, Media Japan initiated this visit.
●The meeting aimed to share perspectives on topics such as townscape preservation, regional development, tourism strategies, and overseas promotion, with the goal of laying the foundation for future joint projects.

Discussion Topics
The meeting covered the following key themes

  1. Promotion Strategy for Regional Assets
    How to effectively communicate Uchiko’s historical architecture, traditional culture, cuisine, and scenic townscape to both domestic and international audiences.
  2. Tourism Attraction and Exchange Promotion
    Strategies to attract visitors and encourage longer stays, addressing issues such as depopulation and aging communities through events, guided tours, and experiential programs.
  3. Connecting Local and Global Audiences
    Utilizing Media Japan’s expertise in overseas communication through the OISHII Project to share Uchiko’s appeal with English- and Asian-language audiences. Topics included translation, media coverage, social media outreach, and ideas for multilingual content development.
  4. Collaboration Framework and Operational Scheme
    Designing roles and workflows among the town administration, local organizations, tourism associations, and businesses. Discussion also covered challenges related to project implementation, budgeting, and scheduling alignment.

Future Outlook and Next Steps
●Building on this visit, we aim to develop specific collaborative projects with Uchiko Town, such as tourism promotion campaigns, hands-on cultural events, and townscape tours.
●Leveraging our multilingual communication capabilities, international network, and content creation expertise, Media Japan will help share Uchiko’s unique charm with global audiences.
●We also plan to use this partnership as a model for future collaborations with other municipalities and regions, contributing to sustainable regional revitalization through cross-regional knowledge sharing.
