From July 14, 2023, to March 15, 2024, Media Japan supported Fukui Prefecture’s overseas market expansion project for agricultural, forestry, and fishery products, as well as food exports.
The project aimed to enhance the brand value of Fukui products both domestically and internationally, while building a sustainable export market.
Media Japan provided comprehensive support, including event planning, business matching, sales representation, and brand strategy development.

Scope of Activities and Support
Event Planning and Exhibition Support
We planned and managed exhibitions, tasting sessions, and promotional events in international and local markets, creating opportunities to showcase the appeal and quality of Fukui products to buyers and consumers.

Business Meeting Coordination
We facilitated business negotiations with local buyers, wholesalers, and retailers—introducing Fukui’s products, supporting price and transaction condition adjustments, and providing logistics coordination assistance to ensure smooth communication and deal progression.

Sales Representation and Market Development
Acting as a local sales agent, Media Japan conducted on-the-ground sales and distribution development activities.
Through our established regional network, we worked to build stable supply routes and distribution partnerships for Fukui’s products in overseas markets.

Market Development and Branding Support
We conducted target market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and product positioning strategy formulation to reinforce Fukui’s brand identity.
The branding strategy highlighted each product’s storytelling elements and regional distinctiveness, ensuring effective and authentic brand communication.
